General results.?The 300 extractions were done in 24G patients, 54 patients having both eyes operated upon. The results were good in 244 (So*20 per cent.), indifferent in 29 (9'9 percent.), bad in 20 (6'82 per cent.), and not ascertained in seven cases. Good results mean vision ranging from to with correcting glasses,! indifferent results where sight was dim, but the patient could go about and see surrounding objects fairly well, and bad results where there was total loss of sight from suppuration or plastic iritis, &c.
